Cupcakes that I made with a little help from my teacher :)
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been updating my blog for awhile. Been busy with work, etc. But I'm back and this time, I would like to share my experience in making cupcakes with you all. Learning how to make a pretty cupcake is one of my goals for 2017 as mentioned in my previous blog post. Therefore, I decided to sign myself up for a cupcake making class at ILOHA Culture Centre. Do check them out as they have tons of classes such as making Sakura Macarons, Japanese Character Bento Making Course, Coffee Appreciation Course, etc.
My cupcake course costed RM190 for a 3.5 hours lesson which included a recipe for making chocolate cupcake and templates/instructions for six CNY-Themed cupcake designs. I'm glad I took the initiative to join the class and learned a new skill along the way. Since I haven't cooked before, it was slightly out of my comfort zone but I thoroughly enjoyed it and have a newfound respect for the art of cupcake making. It definitely takes a lot of effort, detail and patience to make a pretty cupcake/dessert.

That's it for this post. I'm excited to continue my journey in gaining new skills & pushing past my comfort zone this year! Let's do this together as it is never too old to start learning something new. Oh yeah, do stay tuned for my next post as I will be sharing My Must-Visit Places in Seoul, Korea!
Till next time,
Keep Learning!
