Softsrve Ice-Cream & Dessert Bar: Melt In Your Mouth Dark Chocolate Soft Serve

It being summer all year round in KL, ice-creams are the perfect dessert to help cool down on a hot day. Softsrve is one of the many ice-cream & desserts bar that have popped up in Malaysia over the pass couple of years. Having been in operation since Feb 2015, this establishment currently has three stores: Damansara Uptown, Sri Petaling and Sunway (near Sunway Uni).

Vanilla Dark Chocolate

Serving ice-cream, coffee and churros, diners can pick from a variety of ice-cream flavors and then add optional toppings such as churros, crushed cereal, Milo Nuggets, strawberry sauce, waffle & even crispy yam chips. Ice-cream flavors are continuously updated & rotated to keep things fresh. Current flavors include Milo, Coconut & Ribena. My personal favorite would be their dark chocolate soft serve with just the right balance of sweetness & bitterness with a melt-in your mouth velvety texture. Mmmm...However, i would give their vanilla soft serve a miss as it tastes a slightly too bland.

Softsrve x Royce: Honey Matcha Soft Serve with crunchy black sesame brittle, yogurt espuma and milk jelly cubes

Softsrve has collaborated with popular brand names such as Royce and PopUpDiningKL to come up with ice-cream creations to wow its customers. Another thing worth mentioning is the cool fog-like effect that accompanies each cup of ice-cream here. This effect stems from dry ice...so hurry up and take pictures before the "magical" fog is gone in a minute or two.

Overall, this dessert bar is worth a visit if you are craving for some soft serve with a twist. Prices are pretty affordable too from RM 9-18 for an ice-cream creation.
