On a lazy Saturday, my friend and I decided to visit Acme Bar & Coffee for brunch. Located about 5 mins from KLCC, you can either drive there or take the LRT to Ampang Park Station and take a leisurely stroll (~300m).

With floor to ceiling glass panels and a black steely design, the cafe invokes a modern industrial vibe.

Egg & Cheese Bread Bowl, RM23
Breakfast was served until 12pm on that day. I had the Egg & Cheese Bread Bowl featuring organic soft boiled eggs, turkey ham, cheese and shoestring fries.
In my opinion, the dish was average in taste....the bread was soft and had a nice oregano taste that lingered. Other than that, the turkey ham and eggs felt a bit too processed and store bought for my liking. Also, the shoestring fries lacked the taste of potatoes..not enough crunch and saltiness. The portion was sufficient though.

Red Velvet Macaroon Ice Cream, RM15

Lastly, to satisfy my sweet tooth, I had the Red Velvet Macaroon Ice Cream which was served with fresh raspberries, vanilla ice cream and choc peanut sauce. The desert was beautifully presented. However, taste wise, I found it slightly too sweet and the flavors of the macaroon, ice-cream and choc peanut sauce were indistinguishable from one another. That said, the raspberries were fresh and plump. To avoid being too full, share this dessert between 2-3 people.
